Lizard King Washed Ashore
This was taken in 1969, in the Caribbean. I got very drunk with Jim, and he decided to go swimming in his leather pants. I believe he wore them to the show he had in Florida the next night. |

Rob Zombie Swampin'
This was taken on Rob's property, for a photoshoot we were doing for White Zombie in 1996. It was a full moon that night, and we also used additional lighting, gave for a cool effect on his eyes I thought. |

B.I.G. in the BK
This was a photoshoot for Vibe magazine in 1996, and it never got used, was always one of my favorites. We were on Union in Williamsburg, near McCarren Park, though this wall no longer exists, as the warehouse was torn down in 2007. |

The Man in Black on the Tracks
I shot Johnny in 1992 in upstate New York. We drove around awhile and finally found some train tracks, notice the head of his guitar got damaged from his trip up from Tennessee. |

MJ
I shot Michael Jackson during the Victory Tour with his brothers on opening night, July 6, 1984 in Kansas City. This was my favorite from the show. I've never seen a more insane crowd. |

Beatles in Water
I shot the Beatles on the island of Anguilla, on a break after filming their 1-hour television show that was aired in the UK for the Magical Mystery Tour album. |

John Lennon, NYC
I was assisting Bob Gruen in 1974 when he shot the famous John Lennon on a NYC rooftop, I happened to have brought my camera that day and snuck this shot while behind Bob was reloading and John was killing time. |

Jimmy, 5AM
This was Jimmy Page, of Led Zeppelin, at 5 o'clock in the morning, outside of his mansion, by the pool, in England after their show at Earl's Court in 1975. You can't beat the dragon-suit. |

Freddie Mercury on Fire
Freddie, from Queen, was a one-of-a-kind soul, this shot encapsulated for me his greatness, it gave off sparks. This shot is from the Magic Tour, 1986, which was to be their biggest, and as well as their last tour. |

Kurt Cobain at Home
I took this shot outside of Kurt Cobain's newly purchased house in a nice Seattle suburb in late 1993. I had left my jacket inside, and he came down the driveway to give it to me. This shot is a bit eery now, because he took his life in the garden room garage which is hidden behind his head in this shot. |

Slash at 35,000 Feet
This shot is from 1995 after Guns 'N Roses were returning from a tour of the UK. Notice Slash's cigarette broke in his mouth, and he slept with it that way. |

Elvis, '68 Comeback
Elvis Presley's 1968 Comeback Special was one for the ages, I was able to sneak up between all the ladies sitting around his feet to catch this shot, I was only allowed to shoot him for one song. Thankfully I got a shot I liked. |

Bruce Willis, Chicago
Bruce was on a press tour for the movie, Sin City, in Chicago in 2005. We walked down to "The Bean", with him in costume. |

Metallica by the Bay
Metallica played a hometown show at Crissy Field in San Francisco, for the Damaged Justice tour in 1988. |

Lemmy on 2nd Avenue
Lemmy Kilmister, of Motorhead, in the East Village...The inner photo was shot on film in 1985, and the outer photo was shot digital, in 2006. I only had an hour with him, so we just drank at Mars Bar on 2nd Avenue. |

Snoop in Atlantic City
Snoop Dogg decided to get dressed up this night in Atlantic City and hit the casinos, on the way back to the hotel, he went into this pawn shop and bought some random jewelry pieces, and we got this shot. 1998. |

Joey Ramone Place
Joey walking near CBGB's on Bowery in NYC, he was having a laugh with this one. |

Motley Crue, Rainbow Room, LA
This was taken at 5am outside of the Rainbow Room in Los Angeles, in 1986, they were outta control at this point. I think we found Tommy at 11am face down in the parking lot a bit later after this shot. |

Quentin Holding Quentin
Quentin was on a press tour for Kill Bill, and his star was shining brighter than ever, so for this Premiere magazine shoot, I decided to have him hold a gun to his own head, he was sick of himself by that point. |

Scully and Missing Baby Jesus
X-Files was at it's peak with this shot, which I took in 1997. The shot was for TV Guide actually, but they didn't appreciate the Jesus-angle so it was never used. I thought the idea was good, to have Scully checking in on where Baby Jesus disappeared to, and Mary claiming she had nothing to do with it. Aliens? |

Depp on Ice
I had Johnny dress back up as Edward Scissorhands, was done for some retrospective on him, which I never saw the finished results. |

Public Enemy, Joshua Tree, CA
This was taken in 1992 when Public Enemy was opening for U2 on their Zoo TV Tour. We took this on the way from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. |

Jimi and the Needle
I shot Jimi in the spring of 1969, he came back to his hometown of Seattle, after some great gigs in the UK a few months earlier. I was sad to have lost him the next year.
